A bout of road rage between two men Wednesday morning led to thrown coffee, threats made with a knife and battery charges against a man caught on video head-butting another.
Lane Tech administrators reported they discovered graffiti alluding to school violence that would potentially take place on Thursday, according to Chicago police. The message also directed abuse toward “security” staff.
Even after a teenager was charged early this week with making a phony threat against his south suburban high school, police in two other suburbs had to deal with the same thing in the days to follow.
On March 19, employees at the high school found several threatening messages placed throughout the school’s campus at 670 Crescent Blvd., prosecutors said.
