Portillo's Launches Merchandise Line Just In Time For National Hot Dog Day

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- July 17 marks National Hot Dog Day! And what better way to celebrate than with a Chicago-style hot dog from Portillo's?
But the celebration does not begin and end with just eating a hot dog, Portillo's has launched a merchandise line, titled the '1963 Collection' that "honors our pride and joy...the hot dog!"
The new apparel collection includes a range of items from long and short-sleeved t-shirts with Portillo's hot dogs, burgers, fries and chocolate shake on them, a hoodie with a massive hot dog on the front, and baseball hats and beanies with the logo on them.

But wait there's more! The collection also includes some not-so-typical items including a "food baby" t-shirt that reads,"Boy, Girl or Portillo's Cheese Fries?" and a baby swaddle blanket that looks like a Portillo's hot dog wrapper.
