CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It's a finders-keepers scenario in Lynwood, unless the owner wants to come forward and claim his/her drugs.

Lynwood Police found some comic relief when a car was repossessed Tuesday night and the items inside were turned over to the department.

The police department posted on Facebook photos of the items found inside, including money, drugs, and pills, with a post reading: "To the individual whose Dodge Challenger was repossessed last night, there were some items found inside that have been turned over to us. If you want to claim all of this commingled property and can prove it is yours, come up to the station and make a report," the Lynwood Police Department Facebook post read.

To add to the humorous post, Crestwood Police Department shared the post and added their own commentary.

"Everyone know how devastating it can be to lose your personal property. We are sharing this to assist the Lynwood Police Department (Illinois) in attempting to locate the rightful owner," the shared post read.

To whoever is the rightful owner, the joke is on you...
