CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It may still technically summer, but the some of the events this weekend are shouting fall! The weather forecast for the weekend is looking beautiful, so make sure to go out and enjoy the final days of good weather, as there is plenty of things to do in and around Chicago this weekend. 

From food fests to arts and culture, to sports and music, you're sure to find something to do.

Here's a look at things to do this weekend in and around Chicago.

Riot Fest

Head out to Douglas Park for a multi-day music fest featuring Blink 182, Pennywise, Rancid, Wu-Tang Clan, Anthrax, Slayer, and much more. The festival celebrates 15 years!

Art Show

Lakeview East Festival of the Arts

Take a look at art from more than 150 artists at this annual event in Boystown, where you can also catch sets from acts like Rod Tuffcurls and The Bench Press, the Bama Lamas and more. Head over to the Supper Club stage to attend cooking demonstrations from Bobby Parrish and chefs from Maddon’s Post, or attend wine tastings overseen by Rachel Speckan and Alpana Singh.

Where: Along Broadway, from Belmont to Hawthorne

When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. with music until 10 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

ChiSox Craft Beer Fest

The White Sox are out of town playing the Seattle Mariners this weekend, so Guaranteed Rate Field is throwing a beer festival. The first ChiSox Craft Beer Fest brings together 40 local breweries for an afternoon of tasting in the ballpark's outfield concourse, where you'll also find games, activities and some live music. Each ticket includes 30 two-ounce samples and a tasting glass.

Chicago Barbecue and Bourbon Festival

Southern hospitality meets Midwest outdoor fun! Enjoy a selection of smoked meats and bourbon at this Roscoe Village street festival, where local vendors like Lexington Betty Smokehouse, Big Joe's Backyard BBQ and I-94 Ribs serve chicken, pork, salmon, brisket and other delicious delicacies. Buy a tasting ticket and you'll gain access to bourbon from distilleries such as Devils River, Heaven's Door and Rossville Union. Plus, you'll find activities for the family and music from local tribute acts like 16 Candles and Trippin Billies.

Chicago Blackhawks 2019 Training Camp Festival

The 2019 Blackhawks Training Camp Festival will celebrate hockey’s return with appearances from Blackhawks Alumni, live music, food & drink and entertainment for fans of all ages. The first 10,000 fans to enter the building will receive a Patrick Kane bobblehead.

When: Saturday, 8 a.m.; scrimmage at 11 a.m.

Ravenswood Art Walk

Once a year, Ravenswood opens its doors to show you where and how creative people create. The art walk is an outdoor art market featuring live music, food trucks, children's activities and a beer garden.

Chicago Football Classic

The Chicago Football Classic Scholarship Fund, Inc. will host the 22nd Annual Chicago Football Classic between two iconic institutions of higher learning – Hampton University and Howard University.

Where: Soldier Field, 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr.

When: Saturday, kickoff at 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $20+

Friday Night Flights – Closing Event

The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and Choose Chicago are wrapping up their third season of Chicago Friday Night Flights on the Chicago Riverwalk. The award-winning promenade and urban waterfront park will host over 20 award-winning breweries from across the city — all against the backdrop of Chicago’s iconic skyline, Art on theMART, and the Chicago River.

When: Friday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Cost: $20-25 for tasting pass good for 10 three-ounce pours

Wine Riot

Sample wines from around the globe at Wine Riot, where 40 exhibitors will be sampling their offerings. Head to the Bubbly Bar or complete a scavenger hunt at the event for a chance to win prizes. Sommelier Erik Segelbaum (recently named one of Food & Wine Magazine's 2019 "Sommeliers of the Year") hosts both sessions.

Dessert Fest at the Zoo

Head to the Lincoln Park Zoo for an evening of dessert tastings from Stan's Donuts, Roeser's Bakery, Café Vienna, Somethin' Sweet Donuts and other sweet Chicago businesses. Plus, you'll be able to walk around and look at the animals, take part in interactive games, dance to DJed tunes and enjoy cash bars stocked with wine, beer and champagne.

Irish Celebration

Halfway To St. Patrick’s Day Festival

The Parkway Bank Park entertainment district in partnership with Five Roses Pub, hosts the park’s first-ever “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” Irish-themed festival. The event features food and drink tents on the Park’s great lawn alongside live Irish entertainment and children’s activities.
