CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It's the final weekend of Pride Month, which means the Chicago Pride Parade is taking place! There are a ton of other pride-related events going on this weekend to celebrate, along with other summer festivals, events, and concerts.

Here's a look at things to do this weekend in and around Chicago.

The Chicago 50th Annual Pride Parade

Chicago's LGBTQ community and its allies gather in Boystown to celebrate with a rainbow-colored parade that attracts over one million attendees. This year, the annual extravaganza celebrates 50 years with a commemorative theme: Stonewall 50: Millions of Moments of Pride. Head to the parade route early to grab a prime spot before the procession starts rolling down Halsted and Broadway between Montrose and Diversey.

Navy Pier Pride presented by American Airlines

Navy Pier Pride, presented by American Airlines, is coming through with flying colors this year! The fourth annual free Pride event at Navy Pier will consist of a full day of family-friendly festivities in honor of the LGBTQ+ community.

Where: Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave.

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Pride South Side

For the first time in history, Chicago brings Pride home to the South Side. Pride South Side is a three-day festival that includes eight events in five communities. The events include film screenings, diversity and inclusion training, live music and art displays.

Millennium Art Festival

Popping up for a three-day weekend, the 11th annual Millennium Art Festival brings excitement and art to downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue & East Lake Street. Renowned as one of the “Top 50 Art and Design Shows” by Sunshine Artist Magazine, Millennium Art Festival showcases the talents of more than 110 juried artists who participate in this city-centric festival. Festival-goers will see an array of original artwork, including paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry, furniture and more!

90s Beach Party

Take a brief trip back in time to the days of Game Boys, Nickelodeon cartoons and Beanie Babies during an afternoon of day drinking at North Avenue Beach. The 90s Beach Party is stocked with photo ops, party games, a DJ spinning classic ‘90s tracks and plenty of booze for you to enjoy.

Aon Summer Fireworks at Navy Pier
