CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Summer in Chicago has endless possibilities for thing to do. This weekend, from festivals to and baseball games, be sure to get out and enjoy another summer weekend.

Wicker Park Fest

Chicago’s longest (in terms of length) neighborhood festival reflects Wicker Park’s rich musical heritage, eclectic artistry and acclaimed dining scenes. Come and jam out to sets from neo-soul outfit Durand Jones & The Indications, West Coast rockers Wavves, cinematic folk band Murder By Death and New Jersey punks Screaming Females. You'll also find plenty of delicious food, sales at local shops, daily fashion shows and more!

Where: Milwaukee Avenue from North to Ashland

When: Friday, 5-10 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, noon-10 p.m.

Taste of Lincoln Avenue/Facebook

Taste of Lincoln Avenue

Come out to Lincoln Park for 100-plus vendors, artists, food and more than 20 music acts on two stages at the Taste of Lincoln Avenue festival. Plus don’t forget to check out wine and whiskey tastings and the "Kids' Carnival" on Altgeld with art activities, pony rides and more.

Where: Lincoln Avenue between Fullerton and Wrightwood

Fiesta Del Sol/Facebook

Fiesta Del Sol

Fiesta del Sol is considered to be one of the largest Latino fests in the Midwest. It returns for another year in Pilsen offering a carnival, delicious food from local vendors and a lineup of traditional music. Note: Fiesta del Sol is a alcohol and tobacco-free event.

Where: Cermak Road and Loomis Street (1400 W. Cermak Rd.)

When: Friday & Saturday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Margarita

Chicago Margarita Festival

For one weekend each summer, Navy Pier's margarita options extend well beyond what's normally offered. A selection of Chicago bars and restaurants mix their finest tequila-filled concoctions during three sessions of tipsy revelry along Lake Michigan. The festival combines a margarita tasting with live original music, dancing and fun!

When: Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (session one), 7 p.m.-midnight (session two); Sunday, noon-7 p.m. (session three)

Wakandacon

Named after the fictional African nation of Wakanda depicted in Marvel's recent Black Panther film, this convention is devoted to Afro-futurism and creating a safe and supportive space for people of color who are interested in culture, technology, art and more. Guests can attend panels, network with fellow attendees, take part in a video game tournament, learn how to code and shop a marketplace filled with more than 100 small businesses.

Little Italy Fest-West

The smell of garlic and the sounds of Sinatra, Prima and Valli will once again fill the air of Centennial Park (Lake Street at Rohlwing Road) as the Annual Little Italy Fest-West returns to Addison. This celebration of Italian culture combines authentic Italian food specialties with unique, top-of-the-line entertainment and has become the number one Italian festival in the Chicago area.

Prairie Fest

Come celebrate summer in Wood Dale with live music, children’s entertainment, food, drinks and a carnival. Plus there will be fireworks Saturday evening.
