CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A stolen vehicle crashed early Thursday morning into a home in suburban Beach Park.

Around 2:50 a.m. Thursday, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle versus residence traffic crash in the 37600 block of North Sheridan Road, in Beach Park.

When sheriff’s deputies arrived, they found both a vehicle and a home with major damage.

According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, occupied by three males, was traveling southbound on Sheridan Road, when for an unknown reason, the driver lost control and struck the front of a home.

Nobody inside the home was injured.

One of the three occupants was able to escape from the vehicle, while two others remained trapped and required extrication by the fire department.

The three occupants of the vehicle - an 18-year-old of Zion, a 16-year old of Zion, and a 14-year-old of Beach Park - were transported to Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan with non-life-threatening injuries.

Kenosha Police Department responded to the scene to process the vehicle for evidence.

The crash remains under investigation and criminal charges are pending at this time.
