(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte, an autumn mainstay, will be available in a couple of weeks -- its earliest seasonal launch ever in America.

Business Insider, citing Starbucks employees, reported Monday the PSL will go live on Aug. 27. The company declined comment.

The drink, with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and other spices, was previously associated with the Labor Day weekend and is known as a cool- and cold-weather drink, though the coffee chain offered it as early as Aug. 28 last year, Business Insider said.

A "grande"-sized Pumpkin Spice Latte made with 2% milk and including whipped cream is 380 calories, Starbucks says. Without the whipped cream it's 310 calories.
