CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Royal Wedding is keeping a bakery in north suburban Highwood very busy.

Elizabeth Bearwald is the owner of the Bent Fork Bakery, which got to work as soon as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got engaged, telling WBBM: "People are having a lot of viewing parties so they've been ordering lots of scones..and we're also doing custom cookies and little crown cookies."

They've also baked replicas of the royal wedding cake and they'll have the delicious royal treats on sale even after the royal wedding.

Bearwald tells WBBM that while some people are not that excited about Harry and Meghan as others, she believes the big day is a good thing.

"Most people pretty much get on board right away.  It's just fun to watch...there's nothing bad about it, there's so much other stuff that goes on in the world, it's nice to have a happy moment."

And who would be considered Chicago royalty?

Bearwald had trouble coming up with an answer but then, coached by some of her young colleagues, said with a smile that Chicago royalty would probably be Chance The Rapper.
