CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Illinois Governor-elect J.B. Pritzker has a couple of things in common with outgoing Gov. Bruce Rauner, where salaries and addresses are concerned.

Pritzker is a billionaire and said he won’t accept the annual governor's salary of $177,412 when he takes office in January.

Rauner, a multimillionaire private equity investor from Winnetka, did not take a salary when he took office in 2015.

In order to skip the salary, the incoming governor must file paperwork with the state comptroller’s office.

The incoming Democrat has one more thing in common with the outgoing Republican. Pritzker said he will move into the Governor's Mansion in Springfield as soon as he's sworn in.

The Rauners lived in the mansion during their tenure and led the fundraising for a $15 million renovation project.
