CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago Police are looking for an 11-year-old boy accused of setting a fire yesterday Wednesday in a mosque on the city’s South Side.

Officer Jessica Alvarez, of Chicago Police News Affairs, said the boy was at the Masjid Al-Farooq Mosque at 8950 S. Stony Island Ave., where an after-school youth program was happening.

Alvarez said there was a small amount of property damage and that CFD responded to the scene and ruled it an arson.

She said the fire remains under investigation by Area South detectives.
