PHOTOS: Teens Damage Several Vehicles In Hyde Park

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- About two dozen cars were vandalized on Halloween night by a group of rampaging teenagers in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

According to police, a large group of teens damaged the vehicles at about 9:30 p.m. Daybreak showed the extend of the damage up and down the street in the 5400 block of South Ridgewood Court. The quietest block in Hyde Park said Hemal Nayak, but not Wednesday night. 

"Some of the neighbors have been here for 20 something years and never experienced anything like that and this is only a two block street and a lot of the kids come because they know it is very peaceful and quiet," he said. "Everyone just loves living here, so it is very shocking."

His car was one of the ones damaged.

There were no reported injuries, and no one was in custody, police said.

One resident said there could have been more than 100 kids involved.
