ROSEMONT, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Get ready to sing loud, Chicagoland! Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar is bringing its Texas hit entertainment venue to the Midwest.

Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar opened its fifth location – first in the Midwest – at Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district on Friday. The 6,000-square-foot venue joins Pete’s four Texas locations in Austin, Addison, Fort Worth, and Houston.

“We are thrilled to bring Pete’s signature nightly celebrations of unparalleled entertainment to Chicagoans,” said owners Corey Urbach and Greg Sacony, who have partnered with respected Chicago-based business owner Kevin Killerman to open the new venue. “Pete’s guests have been cutting loose and singing loud and proud since the first Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar opened in 1992. What started as a one-man show at Pete’s Peanut Bar & Piano Emporium in Austin Texas went on to become Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar in 1998. Now 27 years later, we’ve made out way to the Midwest!”

Guests of Pete’s can expect to see four a-list pianists that take the stage in two-person rotations to perform hits from ever era on two (baby) grand pianos – and of course, requests are highly recommended. And something you may not get at other dueling piano bars, throughout the evening, all four pianists will unite on stage for an “ultimate high-energy musical experience.”

And it’s not just the pianists that get the show going – waitresses and bar staff join in the fun too, by singing and dancing along with the audience.

To get guests not only singing, but singing loud, Pete’s offers a selection of hand-crafted, signature cocktails and a full bar. They also offer 52-ounce schooners that server up to five people. The Rosemont location will even have drinks made special for that location, including the “Lake Michigan” Schooner and “Magnificent Mile Chic Cosmo!”

Pete’s will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. with shows starting at 8 p.m. Visitors must be 21+ to enter, although those between the ages of 18-20 may enter with a parent and a valid photo ID.
