CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Hyde Park woman has posted more than 200 fliers around the neighborhood hoping to get a mourning dove returned safely to her home.

"Bobo was - is - the kid of two doves that were attacked by falcons in Hyde Park," said Karen Bradley.

Bradley has raised the dove since he was born two years ago in her home near 58th and Blackstone.

She took care of his parents after they were attacked by falcons - and she has several other members of the dove's family.

And a week ago, Bradley said she inadvertently left a screen open and Bobo flew out.

She said she spotted him soon after that.

"But he was totally frantic. He had no idea what he was doing, where he was. He's never been outside. He doesn't know what a car is. A cat, a dog - nothing," Bradley said.

And then she said she lost track of him.

Bradley is offering a reward.
