CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- If you go to your polling place and the election judge claims you're not registered to vote, don't worry.

Matt Dietrich of the Illinois State Board of Elections said if you're already registered to vote, but there's no record of it at your polling place, you can still vote.

"The worst thing that can possibly happen is you might be asked to cast a provisional ballot," he said.

Provisional ballots are counted once it's confirmed you are registered to vote.

And if you're not registered to vote but eligible, Dietrich said you can register at your polling place as long as you have two forms of ID with you.
