Election 2018: Tio Hardiman

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Tio Hardiman (D) joined WBBM Newsradio on Tuesday, Jan. 30. He is running for the Democratic nomination for Governor.  

Tio Hardiman is a community activist.

During the interview, Hardiman said he will be leading the state from the bottom up, instead from the top down.

He also shared his vision of dealing with the pension crisis.

He discusses making a change from a flat Illinois tax to a graduated one. He said wealthy people have not paid their fair share of the tax burden.

Hardiman also talks about reducing gun violence in Chicago and statewide.
