CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Every dancer wants moves.  Cinnamon's Dance Works teaches that and more.  WBBM Newsradio's Bob Roberts has more with this week's Made in Chicago.

"Make sure your one, two, three is one section and your five, six, seven is the other section."

Cinnamon Trammel danced at age five.

"It picked me.  I didn't pick it."

He trained and taught his first classes at a big name studio, but opened his Dance Works to do things differently.

"I simplify and explain it to how that particular individual understands or learns," Trammel said. The student's favorite dances, not his, with moves to spare.  Francisco Acosta and wife Marlena have taken classes for five months.

"When I am at a club, I can fall back to those basic things and still look great. It's pretty cool," Acosta said.

He teaches 67 forms of dance, but claims no favorite.  And he operates a foundation, EDM, to help at-risk youth and those with Alzheimer's or post-traumatic stress through dance.

The studio, at 2025 East Algonquin Road, in Algonquin, is open daily.
