(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Someone stole a car Friday afternoon in the south suburbs after the driver stepped out and left two infants in the back.

Richton Park Police say it was about 12:20 when a delivery person pulled up to a home to make a food delivery.

And that when she went to the door, someone in a blue hooded sweatshirt got in.

In the back seat - strapped to their car seats: the delivery person's two infant sons.

Almost two hours later, police in Riverdale - which is about half an hour's drive away - say they located the two boys in an alley - and that the infants were there - strapped in their car seats.

Police say the boys are OK.

They're still looking for the car: a 2002 burgundy Buick Rendezvous. It has a temporary Illinois license plate of 483T292.
