CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The chairman of the Chicago Tribune's parent company is on his way out, just as a new report accuses him of making improper advances on at least two women.

Michael Ferro, 51, is making what Crain’s Chicago Business calls an abrupt exit, just hours after a "Fortune" magazine report that two women allege he made unwanted sexual advances.

Fortune said a spokesperson did not comment.

Ferro will be replaced as chairman of tronc, Inc. by CEO Justin Dearborn, who has worked with Ferro for years.
