A suburban disposal service is capitalizing on the sad side of Valentine's Day: Providing a free dumpster for people who've been dumped.

It's actually a promotion for Junk King in the northwest suburbs.

Owner Armen Kholamian has a truck behind Marcello's in Northbrook, and he's put a sign on it that says "Dump Truck."

"If you have some of your ex's stuff with you here on Valentine's Day, now's the day to get rid of it. Bring it to the parking lot here, we'll throw it in our truck for free and take it away."

There on the parking lot, Kholamian is setting the mood, with break-up songs.

"We're playing the Eagles' 'Already Gone,’” he said.

So far, he says, people have dropped off a tiki mask, a Lionel Ritchie album  and a sombrero.

"Kind of an empowering way to rid yourself of some emotional clutter by getting rid of some actual clutter."
