CTA Red Line Trains Bypassing North Side Stations Due To Mechanical Problem

May 25, 2019 - 1:28 pm

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- CTA Red Line trains bound towards 95th Street are bypassing several North Side stations due to a mechanical problem, according to the transit agency.

Southbound trains are not stopping between the Howard and Wilson Stations, the CTA said.

That means the Jarvis, Morse, Loyola, Granville, Thorndale, Bryn Mawr, Berwyn, Argyle and Lawrence stations aren’t receiving trains headed for 95th Street.

Commuters attempting to reach any of those stations from Howard will have to take the Red Line down to Wilson, then board a Howard-bound train back north, the CTA said.
