CMAP Will Pay Volunteers To Take Commute Survey

September 08, 2018 - 2:50 pm

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- How do you get around northeastern Illinois?

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning wants to know.

And they'll pay you $50 for your information.

From now until May 2019, the agency is conducting a My Daily Travel survey that looks at the trips households take for work, school, shopping, errands and socializing.

It will use the results to build a picture of the region's transportation needs so officials can make decisions about funding and maintaining roads, bridges and transit.

Households that complete the survey will receive $50.
