CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Comcast worker has come to the rescue, getting a cat out of a tree in the South Shore neighborhood for the second time.

It was one month ago when Yolanda Taylor alerted WBBM Newsradio that a neighbor’s kitten had been stuck high in a tree at 80th and South Shore Drive, for at least three days.

She called again Thursday – same cat, same tree, same story.

“There she was, and I yelled, and she answered, so I said, ‘Oh, my God,’” Taylor said.

Previously, a Comcast employee heard the story on the radio and came to the rescue with a bucket truck. Thursday, the same worker, Brian Matusca, heard what was happening and again pulled up to give the cat a lift – with a little less fanfare.
