CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Canadian Pacific Railway’s 20th annual Holiday Train passed through the Chicago area Thursday evening, stopping in Gurnee and in Bensenville.

Hundreds lined the yard tracks to watch a live performance by Willie Porter and the Trews, who rocked out for half an hour, pausing only to give a $10,000 check to the Bensenville-Wood Dale Food Pantry.

Visitors who attended the show helped fill a van with donated food. The train rolls until Dec. 16, when it reaches Saskatchewan.
