CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An Elk Grove Village company that created a shampoo named after Rob Blagojevich suggests maybe he could make a few bucks by becoming it’s spokesperson.

Delta Laboratories, Inc., an Elk Grove Village manufacturer of fragrance, skin and hair care products, created the shampoo and conditioner in 2009.

The products, Blago Volumizing Shampoo and Blago Volumizing Conditioner, came with a slogan grabbed from the federal wire tap: "I've got this thing, and it's [expletive> golden. And I am just not giving it up for [expletive> nothing."

The marketing slogan for the company is "It's Bleep'n Golden" and the products are described to "make the hair feel fuller and thicker, or 'really big.'" And the ingredients used are blended into a golden hue.

"They are truly bleep'n golden," the company writes on the website.

According to the Sun-Times, when the company's founder Dennis Fath rolled out the Blago products, Delta Laboratories sometimes sold hundreds of bottles a day. It still gets a few orders a year.

“Only two uses,” wrote one customer in a testimonial, “and I’m already feeling scandalous!”

Fath told the Sun-Times Blagojevich could make some money by endorsing it and becoming a spokesman.

“Maybe this could be some income for him, if he wants to endorse it and be a spokesman,” Fath said.
