Bears WR Kevin White Inactive Against Vikings

CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Bears receiver Kevin White, the team's 2015 first-round pick, will be a healthy inactive for a third consecutive game when Chicago hosts the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field on Sunday evening.

The Bears have moved forward without White as part of their plans recently, a decision coach Matt Nagy said was difficult and one he addressed personally with White.

"Kevin has been outstanding as far as where he’s at mentally and how he’s handled this situation," Nagy said Friday. "I mean that. (Three) weeks ago when we decided to make the move to deactivate him, we had a good long sitdown talk and that’s just what I believe in. We were very honest with each other. We talked. He understands. He knows what I’m looking for. I know where he’s coming from. And you work through it. To Kevin’s credit, he’s been awesome."

The Bears' inactives against the Vikings also included cornerback Marcus Cooper, fullback Michael Burton, linebacker Kylie Fitts, tackle Rashaad Coward, receiver Javon Wims and defensive lineman Nick Williams. The team officially activated second-year tight end Adam Shaheen off injured reserve Saturday while placing tight end Dion Sims on injured reserve. Shaheen is active and is expected to play a role in the Bears offense.

The Vikings will be without two key starters on defense in safety Andrew Sendejo and linebacker Anthony Barr.
