Trubisky dislocated his left shoulder in September when he hit the ground against the Vikings, and missed one game. He throws with his right arm.

Pace said it's possible Trubisky will need surgery during the off-season. Meantime, several members of the team also are expected to go under the knife.

Tuesday's news conference was a post-mortem of the Bears' disappointing 8-8 season. Team brass did not signal any significant changes, but later it emerged the Bears had fired four members of the coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich.
