Bears Take On Lions At Soldier Field

November 11, 2018 - 10:55 am

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Bears beat the Detroit Lions 34-22 following a dominant performance from the Chicago offense.

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky was off to a hot start, with two touchdown passes and a touchdown run in the first half alone. The Lions scored two late-game touchdowns after trailing by a wide margin much of the game.

After wins against the Jets and Bills, the Bears face a familiar NFC North foe in the Lions at noon Sunday at Soldier Field.

The Bears will enter the division match with two key play makers on both sides of the ball returning to action. After missing the last two games, pass rusher Khalil Mack and wide receiver Allen Robinson will play Sunday.

Mack and the rest of the Bears pass rush will be crucial to a team win today, writes Bears announcer Jeff Joniak in his weekly keys to the game.  On offense, a commitment to the run with Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen will help quarterback Mitch Trubisky make plays late in the game, Joniak writes.
