Bears Sign Wide Receiver Marvin Hall To 1-Year Deal

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Bears signed receiver Marvin Hall to a one-year deal, the team announced Friday afternoon. Financial terms weren't immediately known.

Hall, 25, spent the last two seasons with the Falcons, playing 16 games and recording a combined 12 receptions for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He had 10 receptions in 2018 with one touchdown and previously spent time on the Raiders' and Cardinals' practice squads. 

He also provided the Falcons special teams unit with two tackles and returned 26 kickoffs for 616 yards (23.7 avg.), with a long return of 53 yards in Week 4 vs. the Bengals, according to the statement released from the Bears. Hall was also part of the Falcons' kickoff return game last season, averaging 23.7 yards per return.

The Los Angeles native hauled in his first career reception against the Miami Dolphins in Week Six of the 2017 NFL season, a 40-yard touchdown reception from Matt Ryan.

Earlier in the week, Chicago signed receiver and return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson to a two-year, $10-million contract.
