(670 The Score) Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after going 23-of-30 for 355 yards, three passing touchdowns and one rushing score in his team's 34-22 win over the Lions on Sunday.

This marks Trubisky's first such honor and the Bears' first since Jordan Howard accomplished it in Week 8 of the 2016 season. The Bears had a NFC Defensive Player of the Week honoree in Week 4, when Khalil Mack was recognized.

Trubisky posted a 148.6 quarterback rating Sunday. He can become the first quarterback in franchise history to throw for more than 300 yards in five straight games when the Bears host the Vikings on Sunday night.

Trubisky is 190-of-290 for 2,304 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season, while adding 41 rushes for 320 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. The Bears are 6-3, leading the Vikings (5-3-1) by a half-game in the NFC North.
