We also share a debt of gratitude to the families of Officers Miller, Gomez, Cebulski, Avila, Zegar, and Rivera. We know that the sacrifice of public service extends to law enforcement families and loved ones, and we remain ever-thankful for you, especially during our most trying times.

We appreciate the overwhelming show of support for the men and women of our Aurora Police Department and ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We also ask that you continue to respect our injured officers' need for privacy as they continue to heal. There will be plenty of time for them to tell their story and many opportunities for us to remind them how thankful we are for their service."
