CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It's billed as the world's largest gathering of astrologers, and it's here in Chicago, through Tuesday.

WBBM Newsradio's Steve Miller reports.

The United Astrology Conference has brought about 1,500 conventioneers to Chicago.

"And people really don't understand what astrology really is. They think it's palmistry or fortune-telling, when astrology is a science. It's very mathematical,” said Joni Patry, a Vedic astrologer, which is astrology from India.

"If you want some of my predictions, they're pretty radical, what I see coming."

Of course, we did want to hear.

"This summer, there's going to be a big shakeup, politically -- I know that for sure -- in our government,” said Patry.

"And it's going to be around the time of the end of July, mainly because there's a lunar eclipse that is unbelievable, in my opinion. There's some major things happening."

The astrology conference has more than 275 classes and workshops.
