(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The brother of Bears legend Brian Urlacher has been indicted for what authorities say was an illegal sports gambling operation.

The U.S. Attorney's office describes it as a multi-million-dollar sports gambling business.

And Brian Urlacher's 40-year-old brother, Casey, is one of 10 people named in the federal indictment.

Prosecutors say he was one of the agents accused of recruiting new gamblers and collecting and paying out winnings.

Casey Urlacher is the mayor of the village of Mettawa in Lake County and elected in 2013.

He is also a member of the Illinois Civil Service Commission, appointed by Bruce Rauner when he was governor.

Casey Urlacher has not returned calls from WBBM Newsradio seeking a response.
