Schedule: 61st Annual Chicago Air & Water Show Friday Practice Run

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The 61st annual Chicago Air and Water Show kicks off Saturday at North Avenue Beach; but before that can happen, the pilots are taking practice runs on Friday to be sure the weekend runs smoothly.

The Chicago Air and Water Show practice begins Friday at 10 a.m. See below the run down:

  • Opening - 10-10:15 a.m.
  • 519 Chapman Stein - 10:15-10:27 a.m.
  • Sean D. Tucker - 10:27-10:34 p.m.
  • USAF F-16 Demo - 10:34-10:54 a.m.
  • Jack Knutson Firebird - 10:54-11:03 a.m.
  • USMC Osprey Demo - 11:03-11:18 a.m.
  • Susan Dacy - 11:18-11:28 a.m.
  • CFD Air/Sea Rescue - 11:28-11:38 a.m.
  • USAF F-22 - 11:38-11:58 a.m.
  • CPD Hellicopter - 11:58 a.m.-12:08 p.m.
  • KC-135 - 12:08-12:20 p.m.
  • Team Oracle - 12:20-12:34 p.m.
  • USAF A-10 - 12:34-12:49 p.m.
  • 4CE - 12:49-1:03 p.m.
  • BREAK - 1:03-1:30 p.m.
  • U.S. Navy Blue Angels - 1:30 p.m.

The Chicago Air and Water Show is the largest FREE show of its kind in the United States. The show can be viewed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point.
